Introduction
A Boiler House Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of boilers and associated systems in a Juice Manufacturing Factory. Their duties focus on ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable boiler operations, while also managing personnel and maintaining compliance with regulations
Duties & Responsibilities
➢ Supervising and management of Boiler House staff.
➢ Shift work schedule planning, implementing, and monitoring.
➢ Maintaining service schedules and preventative maintenance of coal fired boilers and ancillaries.
➢ Experience in troubleshooting breakdowns, repairing, adjusting, refurbishing, disassembling, and assembling of Coal fired boilers and ancillaries.
➢ Maintaining records of services and repairs.
➢ Experience in pea coal quality assessment.
➢ Maintaining records of pea coal, water, and chemical usage.
➢ Experience in repair and maintenance of coal fired boilers, systems, and components.
➢ Experience in coal fired boiler refractory product application and repair.
➢ Experience in coal fired boiler brickwork application and repair.
➢ Experience in coal fired boiler feed water chemical dosing and water softener operation.
➢ Experience in the FMCG Environment would be an advantage
Desired Experience & Qualification
NQF 4 or equivalent qualification, preferably a qualified artisan with relevant experience.
Minimum 5 years’ experience Boiler House Supervisory position held with hands on boiler maintenance, preferably in the Fruit/Food Processing Industry
