- We are recruiting on behalf of a large commercial air conditioning company, the leading A/C service provider in the Cayman Islands. The company specializes in large, proactive service agreements, retrofit projects, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
Job Title: SENIOR AIR CONDITIONING SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Location: Cayman Islands
Employment Type: Expat (Full-time)
Missions & Responsibilities:
• Provide proactive maintenance and troubleshooting services for mechanical equipment at customer sites.
• Ensure effective communication with customers regarding equipment issues and service progress.
• Perform regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure the longevity of mechanical systems.
Key Skills & Qualities:
• Highly proactive, not reactive, with a strong focus on service and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills, both with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, offering top-tier customer service.
Experience Required:
• Proven experience with commercial AC systems, including commercial water and air-cooled chillers, commercial airside equipment, and commercial split AC systems up to 50 tons.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial maintenance and strong technical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong theoretical background in refrigeration and air conditioning physics, theory, and principles.
• Beneficial experience with Building Management Systems (BMS).
Education & Languages:
• Relevant technical education in mechanical equipment maintenance (level to be specified).
• Proficiency in English is required; other languages are a plus.
Nationality / Expat:
• All applicants must be expats willing to relocate to the Cayman Islands for the position.
Years of Experience:
• Minimum of 5+ years in the field, with the ability to work independently and be fully self-supportive
