Job Title: Business Development (Fund Mobilization) Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary
• We are seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist focused on funds mobilization. The role is crucial in driving strategic growth through the acquisition of high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and corporate clients, building strong, lasting relationships, and mobilizing funds to support business objectives.
• Based in Abuja, the ideal candidate will have a solid track record in the financial sector, with a proven ability to attract significant investments from HNIs and corporations.

Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Funds Mobilization: Develop and implement targeted strategies for mobilizing funds from HNIs and corporate clients to meet the firm’s financial growth targets.
• Client Acquisition: Identify and secure new HNI and corporate clients, expanding the firm’s network of investors and contributors.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service and personalized financial solutions.
• Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on market trends and investment opportunities, aligning strategies with client needs and firm objectives.
• Proposal Development: Create compelling investment proposals and presentations tailored to potential HNIs and corporations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and investment, to ensure smooth client onboarding and sustained engagement.
• Reporting & Analytics: Monitor funds mobilization metrics and provide regular reports on performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet goals.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all funds mobilization activities comply with financial regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; an MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) is an advantage.
• Experience: At least 5 years in business development, with a strong focus on funds mobilization and client acquisition in the financial services sector.
• Client Network: Established connections within HNI and corporate circles in Nigeria, particularly in Abuja.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in market analysis and a deep understanding of investment vehicles suitable for HNIs and corporate clients.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly.
• Goal-Oriented: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding funds mobilization targets.
