Job Description:

The Sr. Market Collaboration Lead will be responsible to enable the creation of the sub-cluster demand plan(s) that will be created for the Mars Wrigley segment led organisation. The demand plans are critically important for the organisation because they are used as the basis for decision making in the signature processes, S&OP+ and S&OE.

This role requires the job holder to form key stakeholder relationships across supply, demand and S&OP+ & S&OE communities to carry out their role effectively. They are a permanent member of Step 2 and they facilitate a DMR sub-cluster meeting. They influence others and build credibility and trust through focus on data and fact-based decision making.

What are we looking for?
• BSc or BA in business, supply chain management, science and/or engineering. Master or advanced degree (sciences or business) preferred.
• 3-5 years of demand management experience for a global or multi-plant CPG/FMCG company
• 1-2 years of experience in Sales and Operations Planning
• Fluent in English (written and oral).
• E2E understanding of Supply Chain with detailed experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, Inventory Management
• Ability to present complex analysis in understandable forms to business stakeholders including the ability to articulate the needs of the business and the customers to supply chain stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a matrix structure.
• Ability to listen to others and link to others’ ideas.
• Attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy.

What will be your key responsibilities?
• Owns the Consensus forecast for the sub-cluster taking onboard the system input (and forecasting analyst inputs where applicable) as the major building block for their portfolio in periods for the full horizon to drive the supply plan.
• Ensures that demand plans are shared/received in the format, level of detail, accuracy and timing required by all business stakeholders and supply chain partners, with documented assumptions, to achieve the various business objectives.
• Understands drivers of base sales trends (last year, previous years and YOY), upside and downside scenarios.
• Assesses trends, risks and opportunities together with the Sales, Marketing, Category and Finance teams.
• Incorporates approved upside and downside scenarios on top of the system generated forecast at appropriate level of hierarchy.
• Monitors consumption versus forecast and works with product availability teams to respond to forecast evolution during the cycle.
• Collaborates across the E2E planning organisation on risks and opportunities. Collaborates with product availability on the short-term demand plan assumptions.
• Reviews forecast performance metrics from previous cycle (and collaborates with Forecasting Analyst where applicable) to develop an action plan to improve performance.
• Drives deployment of Segmentation and FVA to ensure focus on value-add activities.
• Owns the agenda for the sub-cluster DMR meeting by deriving the critical conversations from the consolidated input into the cycle.
• Provides the insights for the consensus forecast across the full horizon to the DMR.
• Conducts health checks & ensures that demand planning & DMR feeder processes are sustained at the intended maturity level with adherence to the relevant weekly and periodic standards.
• On constrained and controlled lines, highlights imbalances between demand and supply and follows through with Sales on demand shaping customer choices, ensuring deployment to protect service.
• Challenges peers and colleagues and surfaces tensions to ensure that assumptions reflected in the demand plans are robust and realistic.
• Addresses areas requiring Continuous Improvement to deliver their agenda.
• Provides DMR meeting output to the Market Collaboration Head as input to the cluster IR.
