Duties and Responsibilities
The Cook will perform the following duties:
Food Preparation:
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
• Ensure that all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively.
• Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items.
Kitchen Operations:
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning up during and after shifts.
• Monitor food stock levels and report any shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist in ordering and receiving food supplies as needed.
Market List Preparation:
• Prepare the market list based on the menu or recipes for upcoming events.
• Ensure that all necessary ingredients and supplies are included on the list.
• Submit the market list promptly to the Cost Controller for preparation of costing.
• Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure timely procurement of items on the market list.
Customer Satisfaction:
• Ensure that all dishes meet the quality and presentation standards set by the company.
• Respond to customer feedback and make necessary adjustments to improve food quality.
General Duties:
• Adheres to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Ensures proper care and maintenance of kitchen equipment and supplies.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
• 8 hour shift
• Flextime
Supplemental Pay:
• 13th month salary
• Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Puerto Princesa City, Palawan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
