Job Summary:
The Distributor Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and developing strategic relationships with key accounts to drive sales growth, maximize revenue, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of the FMCG industry, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver on business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key account stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Monitor account performance, identifying opportunities for growth and addressing any issues that arise.

Sales Strategy & Execution:
• Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to key accounts, aligned with overall company goals.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, pricing, and promotional activities to maximize profitability.
• Forecast and track sales metrics, ensuring that targets are met or exceeded.

Market Analysis & Insights:
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.
• Provide actionable insights to inform product development, marketing strategies, and sales initiatives.
• Work closely with the marketing team to execute campaigns that drive brand visibility and sales.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate with the supply chain, production, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery of products and seamless execution of sales agreements.
• Partner with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that support key accounts.
• Coordinate with customer service to resolve any issues and enhance the customer experience.

Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare regular reports on account performance, sales trends, and market conditions.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance sales and profitability.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in key account management, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of the FMCG market, including product categories, distribution channels, and customer dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and data analysis tools.
• Willingness to travel as required
