About This Job:Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Site Engineer to work in Mbale Uganda.KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInvestigate sites to determine and evaluate construction conditions.Prepare engineering calculations required for the design of projects, and supervise the drafting of plans.Produce detailed designs and documentation for the construction, implementation and monitoring of civil engineering projects.Organize the delivery of materials, plant machinery and equipment needed for the construction project and supervise labour.Develop detailed programmes for the coordination of site activities.Work with other engineers, foremen, surveyor, Safety and environmental Officer or any other staff involved in the project, in a team work and professionalism.Assist with the computerized design of civil engineering projects.Coordinate and direct research, development and testing of materials, processes or systems related to civil engineering works.Research, advise on and plan the control and minimization of air, water and solid waste pollution, and the management of water resources.Supervise the testing and commissioning of completed works.Process, analyze and interpret reports on loading, labour, equipment, productivity, quality, materials and performance.Analyze risks associated with Safety procedures to be implemented on the works and natural disasters (including fires and floods), and design structures and services to meet appropriate standards.Comply and ensure compliance with safety procedures implemented by the company.
