Our client is an experienced and multidisciplinary company that prioritizes excellence in all its projects, investing in a team of highly specialized professionals who are committed to meeting their clients' needs. This company offers a wide range of engineering, architecture, and project management services and is looking to integrate an Airport Planning and Design Engineer, based in Lisbon or São Paulo.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop MasterPlan Studies and detailed infrastructure projects for Airport Infrastructures (AirSide) for Central America, South America, Africa, and Europe;
2. Elaborate technical documentation: design reports, technical specifications, drawings, and bill of quantities;
3. Develop technical and economic feasibility studies for Airport infrastructures.
Profile:
1. Degree in Aeronautical Engineering;
2. Postgraduate in Airport Infrastructure Management (valuable);
3. Minimum experience of 8 years in the development of Airport Planning and Design (Airside including airfield geometry, pavements, lighting, signage, and navigational aids;
4. Solid knowledge of International Aviation standards, namely, ICAO, FAA, and EASA;
5. Knowledge of survey methods for pavements and geological-geotechnical studies;
6. Knowledge of methodologies for evaluating existing pavement conditions, identifying and classifying pathologies, and defining rehabilitation solutions;
7. Experience in pavement design software (FAARFIELD or equivalent), aircraft simulation software (AVIPLAN or equivalent), and CAD tools;
8. Problem-solving ability;
9. Exceptional organization, autonomy, and critical sense;
10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
11. Fluent in two languages (English or French and Spanish).
