Title: AEM Developer (100% Remote)
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
Note: Only EST/CST Candidates.
What You'll Do
• Design, build, and implement custom AEM components, templates, workflows, and forms
• Design, development, and implementation of custom portal applications using AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs
• Configure and manage AEM environments, including setting up infrastructure, security, and performance tuning
• Implement custom Authentication in AEM portal using external IDP.
• Integrate AEM with other systems and tools, such as CRM, analytics, and digital asset platforms
• Drive technical design and development efforts for AEM projects
• Mentor junior AEM developers and provide technical guidance and support
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AEM technology trends and best practices
• Work closely with Product Teams to include continuous technical improvement in the product roadmap
• Responsible for guiding and preparing technical architecture documentation for review and approvals
• Ensure that development projects and software deployments meet product requirements and goals and comply with all applicable security, privacy, and audit requirements and regulations
• Create and deploy components within an agile delivery process and framework
• Collaborate with on-shore, off-shore, and development teams to build and maintain positive, productive team relationships.
What You'll Need
• Minimum of 5 years of software development & architecture experience
• Extensive experience with AEM as Cloud Service architecture, development, and deployment
• Adobe AEM certifications are beneficial to the role
• Experience with AEM integration and custom development
• Experience with Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR, and Apache Felix.
• Experience with Adobe Target, Analytics, and Launch is a plus.
• Design and development of web applications using the AEM platform, including the guidance of site structure, components, templates, fragments, workflows, dialogs, and object model designs (Java APIs)
• Experience in creating AEM components using Front end technologies like Sightly/HTL, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, SASS, and HTML
• Hands-on experience in developing forms using AEM Adaptive forms and integrating with external systems
• Knowledge of AEM architecture for AEM Sites & Assets
