ACTIVITIES
- Responsible for the management of IS production infrastructure (availability, performance,
quality) in line with the company HSE, Cybersecurity, architecture standards and SIT strategy.
- Coordination and follow-up of IS infrastructure activities delegated to HQ and Local providers.
- Main point of contact on the communication process between the affiliate and all outsourced
IT operations service agreements
- Perform technical management, risk evaluation and impact analysis for IS Infra production
environment changes, realized by TGITS or other service providers.
- Supervise and ensure that the IT technical services within his scope meet the SLA expected by
business users.
- Management of Incidents and Problems related to TEPA IS Infrastructure perimeter.
- Produce key performance indicators of the IS infrastructure critical resources (servers, backup
services, data storages, etc....) and manage technical monitoring in order to prevent or quickly
respond to incidents.
- Ensure the existence of updated documentation for the IS infrastructure production
environment (DAT, operational procedures, etc)
- Perform inventories on the perimeter and maintain the referentials updated (CMDB,
monitoring tools, etc).
- Lead and work closely with infrastructure project managers and technical experts (local and
HQ) to prepare necessary infrastructure evolutions.
- Support SIT projects with IS infra expertise.
- Prepare licenses/hardware/service Support and Maintenance contracts (SoW preparation,
technical evaluations, payments follow-up, SLAs,...)
DIMENSION
- Complexity of the systems: High (3/3). strong impact of the performance on the TEPA activity
and costs.
- Supported perimeter covers 3000 users' accounts, 2800 workstations, 250 servers, 200
databases, 1PB of data.
CONTEXT
- Onshore Luanda based within a large expanding Affiliate (~2800 users).
- Close communication and coordination with HQ and affiliate IT stakeholders, contractors and
vendors.
- Quickly evolving technical perimeter: Windows & Linux (servers and workstations), Virtual
environment (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix), NetApp storages, HPE storages, Data Domain
backup systems, OpManager & other monitoring tools, ITSM (SNOW).
- Management of services contracts.
PURPOSES
- Ensure that IT services, supported by TEPA IS infrastructure, delivers the performance and
reliability required by business entities.
- Ensure coordination by supervising cross functional efforts between headquarters and local
third party / internal support teams.
- Develop good understanding of Infrastructure roadmap, ensure compliance of Company
architecture standards and suggest improvements.
- Supervise, analyze and report on the performance, service request and incident management.
- Control change management process of the infrastructure services.
- Ensure that all monitoring tools (OpManager, ...) are working correctly, have the necessary
licenses and support contracts.
- Provide KPIs for all IS infrastructure equipments.
- Ensure the existence and update of technical documentation necessary for infra operation
(DAT, operational procedures, ...)
- Ensure the existence of service ITSM offers for infrastructure services.
REQUIRED PROFILE
Diploma: IT Engineer with minimum 6 years of experience in IS administration
COMPETENCE:
- Very good educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or
engineering.
- Proven working experience in IT infrastructure operations sector.
- Skilled in change management to coordinate the implementation of system changes that have
impact on end users, including system monitoring and notifications.
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in IS technical
operations.
- Ability to work / coordinate a team of IT professionals and delegate assignments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including capacity to share knowledge.
- Very good documental organization and task follow-up
- Strong analysis skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Timed driven / objectives oriented
- Flexibility, availability, adaptability are qualities necessary to hold the post

- Languages: Fluent in Portuguese and/or English. Ability to understand French is a plus
