We are looking for a passionate and committed Spanish teacher to become a part of a vibrant team at a Plymouth secondary school. This is a full-time position that will start in September 2024. The ideal applicant will have a strong love for teaching, be dedicated to the growth of students, and be qualified to teach Spanish and at least one other language at Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Spanish and English.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students in developing language skills and cultural understanding.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum.
You will have:
• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• The successful candidate will have experience teaching in KS3 and KS4 and have a thorough, up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum and age-related expectations.
• Two education- or school-based references
• UK right to work in place; unfortunately, we cannot support Sponsorship
• Good spoken and written Spanish and English skills
• Have high expectations for teaching, learning and behaviour
• To succeed in this Spanish teaching position, you will need to be a strong classroom practitioner who can engage with pupils and make an immediate impact on their education.
