Main Responsibilities
• Work with the Hong Kong Corporate team to offer support as needed.
• Assist in various tasks involved in Hong Kong IPOs, M&As and other corporate transactions, including but not limited to conducting legal due diligence and verification, drafting of prospectus, and attending to signing and closing.
• Assist with compliance work for public and private companies.
• Assist with general commercial matters.
• Perform legal and factual research tasks, conduct company searches.
• Translate documents from English to Chinese and vice versa.

Attributes/Skills Required
• Previous paralegal experience is required. Experience in IPOs, M&As, and other corporate work would be an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree holder in law is preferred.
• Excellent drafting, presentation and communication skills.
• Organised, with good time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
• Proactive and resilient team player.
• Fluent in English and Chinese – both spoken and written. Native Mandarin speaker is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications – Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
