Job Title: Construction Manager
Location: Northern Cape, Kgalagadi District, Kathu
Job Type: Contract, Full-Time
Job Duties
• Manage and oversee all construction activities on-site
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project completion within budget and schedule
• Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations
• Prepare and update project schedules and budget reports
• Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during construction
• Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Construction Manager
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Health and Safety certification
Education
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management
Knowledge And Skills
• Proficient in project management software
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Understanding of budgeting and financial management
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Chartered status with a relevant professional body
• Previous experience in the mining industry
Working Conditions
• Work on-site in various weather conditions
• Travel may be required to different project locations
• Regular interaction with construction team members and stakeholders
