We’re looking for an Industrial Engineer to join our Copper Lighting Team in Monterrey Plant.

As an Industrial engineer you’ll be responsible for introducing new products in Production Units and setup of optimized processes and equipment.
Creates required conditions to win in the marketplace through fast and efficient NPIs (time to market), and highly efficient
production (zero defect, target output). Develops standards supporting production system

What you’ll do
• Esures optimized product designs (DfMA) by representing manufacturing in product development and maintenance project tea ms : e.g. APC (Architecture & Platform Creation), NPDL (New Product Development & Launch), ETO (Engineering to Order), LCM (Life Cycle Management)
• Acts as project leader for improvements in production and documentation).
• Creates and maintains technical conditions in a way that the production process does not get disrupted.
• Implementation of new products and processes including product and technology transfers and related technical aspects.
• Contributes to team at startup in production through technical support and guidance
• Takes improvement actions to reach target quality and efficiency applying various tools & methodologies (e.g. LEAN)
• Problem solving & coaching
• Manages and Trains Project staff.

Broadened/theoretical knowledge of generic products/services and the surrounding organization
NPI
Project management techniques
Capable of interacting with senior levels. Speaking up in project teams
Knowledge of environmental, safety and quality regulations
Manufacturing Standards
LEAN methods and tools & Signify Lean certification
Design f. Manufacturing & Assembly
Industrial engineering experiences in MOST, line balancing, Standard Work, workstation set up, etc.
Driving continuous improvement with cross functional team
