Job Title: Performance Analyst
Reports to: Corporate Manager
Location: Head Office, Belize City
Job Description:
The Performance Analyst (PA) will be responsible for ensuring that systems are in place and accurately calibrated to measure key performance indicators across the company against static and dynamic targets. The PA will work strategically with management and team leads to set measurable goals and objectives that will produce bottom-line results and drive positive organizational change. This process will include consistently collaborating with internal teams throughout the fiscal year to update them on their performance, and when necessary, recalibrate measurement systems or adjust targets based on new factors. The person must have an investigative nature along with a love for systems, data, truth and seeing people succeed.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
The Performance Analyst will
§ Develop annual company Goals and Objectives (G&Os) and quarterly Performance Targets (PTs) in compliance with the Performance Assessment Policy and in alignment with the company’s strategic plans and budget.
§ Monitor and assess results against established G&Os and PTs ensuring those successfully attained are appropriately compensated.
§ Identify and analyse gaps that prevent the company, department or staff from achieving established goals and targets.
§ Perform quarterly site visits to connect operations to established targets and identify gaps which may prevent the company, department or staff from achieving established goals and targets.
§ Presents identified gaps and recommendations to the Performance Committee monthly to gain approval for change.
§ Work with various team members to address the identified gaps.
§ Communicate measurement standards and key performance indicators to all members of the organization regularly.
§ Recalibrate measurement systems or adjust targets based on new factors.
§ Perform quarterly site visits to connect operations to established targets and identify gaps which may prevent the company, department or staff from achieving established goals and targets.
§ Ensure that proper performance dashboards and reporting are in place
§ Manage and continue to evolve the process of setting measurable goals and objectives.
§ Identify, recommend, obtain approval and update the KPIs to measure organizational performance, drilling down from the level of the CEO to the department and individual team members.
§ Compile, interpret and prompt action based on various KPIs across the organization.
§ Communicate with executive and management teams and ensure feedback is documented and acknowledged.
§ Seek out and highlight those areas of the company which are underperforming as well as those exceeding expectations. Identify the cause and suggest solutions to improve productivity.
Any other duties assigned from time to time.
Professional Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements represent the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
Education
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting or STEM Degree (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics). Preferred Master’s Degree.
Work Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience setting KPIs and collecting, organizing, and analysing data.

§ Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with other data tools (e.g., PowerBI) is an asset.
