About the role:
The Sever is an integral role in the guest experience. This position is responsible for taking orders from guests, making insightful recommendations and timing service to ensure satisfaction. The Server ensures all orders are completed exactly as requested and completes quality checks throughout service.
What you will do:
• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals
• The ability to manage several tables at once, be flexible with single diners or large groups, ensure timing and sequence of orders to guest preference.
• Ensure cleanliness of each section of the dining rooms and make necessary improvements as well as check each table prior to opening to ensure its proper set
• Be able to greet guests and seat table as needed in support of host/ess
What you bring:
• One to two years' previous experience in Food & Beverage outlet; previous employment experience within a luxury Hotels is considered an asset
• A person with the hospitality spirit to connect with guests, ensure all details are attended to and communicates positively and effectively with team members
• Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems
• Strong communication skills

Schedule & Hours:
• Successful candidates will be hired as a casual, part time employee. Successful candidates are expected to work early mornings, days, evenings, holidays, and/or weekends
