Job Description
How will you make an impact?
The Account Manager is responsible for promoting MSD EM products within the Analytical Instruments Group. This person will focus on exceeding sales quotas for the full product portfolio across an assigned territory by engaging with end user customers, key decision makers, and procurement. The account manager will collaborate with an extensive internal team, including Product Marketing, Sales Development, Technology Development, Application and Service team.
What will you do?
• Achieve/ exceed sales targets
• Design and implement a detailed business plan with account-specific strategies to win business and promote territory growth
• Build technical proficiency on MSD EM solutions and be perceived by customer base as a valued partner
• Visit customers and prospective accounts to understand needs/challenges and promote Thermo Fisher Scientific's product portfolio
• Ensure tool acceptance and Account Receivable Collection in line with targets.
• Confirm all system configurations, specifications and acceptance conditions are appropriate for closing orders
• Keep updated on current market/application trends and competitive landscape
• Maintain accurate forecast, upside, opportunitie3ws, accounts, contacts, leads and actions through CRM within defined territory
• Education and Required Experience:
• BS degree or above
• Requires 5 years semiconductor sales experience, EM experience is preferred
• Strong interpersonal communication and project management skills
• Good written and oral communication skills, good presentation skill
• Good knowledge of the Semiconductor industry
• Demonstrated capability to develop in depth customer relationship and credibility, to gain insight into customers’ requirements
• Demonstrate sophisticate leadership and interpersonal skill
