Xgrid Technical Writers are skilled and talented professionals, who act as a knowledge gateway to impart all the necessary information about products built by Xgrid, to its customers.
You will enjoy being part of an extremely talented, motivated team interacting with both business and development counterparts to capture key marketing requirements and translate them to products designed for our customers. Moreover, you will be encouraged to become active in the open source communities.
This will provide you a unique exposure of the entire ecosystem (involving technology, community, customers and partners) in the cutting-edge data center and cloud space. The ideal Xgrid Technical Writer will have experience creating outbound documents for complex “enterprise grade” mission-critical automated systems for our data center and cloud customers.
Job Requirements
• Draft clear and concise technical product documentation including: User Manuals, Installation Guides, Architecture Guides etc.
• Collaborate with the developers and engineering team members to extract useful information about the software products and organize review cycles to gather feedback.
• Adhere to the company’s quality standards and documentation style guidelines.
• Produce high quality content for marketing collaterals such as company blog, newsletter, etc.
• Experience with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required.
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS is required.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, preferred
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in EE, CS, SE, IT, or any equivalent field
• Up to 1 year of relevant experience
• Knowledge of IT processes, procedures and terminologies, preferred.
• Strong communication skills, required.
• Strong ability to create and convey technical material in a concise and effective manner
