Way4 is a cutting-edge payment processing platform designed for financial institutions, banks, and payment service providers. It offers a wide range of solutions, including card issuing, merchant acquiring, transaction processing, and digital banking.
As our team continues to expand to meet the growing demand for Way4 implementations, we are excited to open a new position for a System Implementation Engineer. This role will play a crucial part in helping us deliver top-tier solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
• Interacting with clients at various stages of implementation, including on-site at the client’s location
• Gathering necessary information for analysis and developing solutions for implementing Way4
• Participating in the implementation of enhancements
• Testing the deployed Way4 solutions (functional, load, integration, regression, UAT)
• Supporting the handover process of the implemented system into operation and resolving incidents that arise during the handover
• Providing technical support and overseeing the implementation of payment systems projects
• Configuring, setting up, and installing Way4 modules and components
• Troubleshooting by analyzing application and system software logs (Oracle DBMS, Windows, Linux)
• Preparing installation packages for the delivered software
• Updating and writing installation documentation for the software
• Collaborating with testing, analytics, and development teams
• Actively participating in the process of implementing new systems at different stages (installation, training, testing)
Requirements:
Experience:
• Experience in implementing and supporting high-load distributed systems
• Experience in the fintech sector (working with banking systems, processing centers)
• Experience and skills in working with various operating systems: Windows Server, Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux)
• Experience in administering Windows Server, Linux, Solaris
• Experience with software products such as Jira, Confluence, SVN, Git, VMWare, PL/SQL Developer, etc. is welcome
Knowledge and Skills:
• Understanding of DBMS theory and practice (development and/or administration)
• Proficiency in PL/SQL (reading and writing code)
• Proficiency in any object-oriented programming language (Java or similar at a code-reading level)
• Basic understanding of IT systems support/testing principles
• Intermediate English for business communication
Preferred:
• Experience in administering and configuring Way4 is welcome
• Specialized knowledge in banking technologies: ISO 8583; XML; PCI DSS
• Knowledge of payment technologies and the principles of banking card operations
• Experience with processing systems
