THE POSITION
Project Manager - Plant Construction
THE COMPANY
For our a client an international FMCG producer who has been operating on the Central Asian for many years, we are currently looking for a Project Manager to manage the construction of a new manufacturing plant in the Almaty Oblast. This will be a green field project.
The POSITION
You will be the main point of contact for all engineering and construction related task during the construction of the new facility. This work will include but not be limited to:
• Selecting and appointing all relevant sub suppliers for the engineering and construction phase
• Dealing with all permitting and authority related questions
• Project execution under EPCM and EPC schemes
• Coordinating all internal stakeholders globally
• Project design and construction related matters
• Value engineering, Architecture, Civial and Structural Engineering and MEP Engineering
• Cost and Budget management
• Project management according to international standards including all environment relevant issues
The Person
We are looking for a senior expert with at least 7-10 years minimum experience in engineering and building manufacturing plants. Our main focus will be on local candidates who are familiar with local specifics and permitting process. Knowledge and involvement of constructing food processing plants would be considered a big plus. In addition to the relevant technical experience and education you speak Russian/Kazakh and a good command of English to be able to communicate with all stake holders.
