Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of electrical schematics, diagrams, and drawings for a variety of projects, using industry-standard software and tools. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and ensure that all designs comply with relevant safety standards and local regulations. This is a great opportunity for an engineer with strong technical skills and experience in electrical design to make a significant impact on the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop electrical schematics, diagrams, and drawings using AutoCAD and other industry-standard software.
• Research, select, and validate appropriate electrical components to ensure optimal system performance, including reviewing local requirements for compatibility.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, such as design specifications, bills of materials, and test reports.
• Ensure designs comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and local codes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including PMO office, mechanical, and civil teams, to ensure successful project execution and coordination.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues and challenges related to electrical design, both independently and as part of a team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering to drive continuous improvement in design processes.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the design and implementation phases.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in an electrical design role or similar capacity.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating detailed electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of electrical components, their applications, and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards, as well as local electrical codes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently and collaboratively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (additional language skills are a plus).
