Our client is a renowned multinational technology company with fast growing business across the US, UK Europe and Asia. They are seeking an experienced lawyer to join their legal team in Hong Kong.
Job Description:
• Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including IT, software, and sales agreements.
• Conduct legal research on product compliance and international legislative changes, and support reviewing and analyzing of research results conducted by external law firms.
• Understand and interpret contractual terms to ensure compliance with laws and regulations in different jurisdictions.
• Provide legal advice to management and various business units, and legal support on day-to-day regulatory compliance.
• Identify and mitigate contractual and regulatory risks by designing or implementing company policies and procedures.
• Participate in strategic business decisions to understand and advise on potential contractual obligations and consequences.
Responsibilities:
• Common law qualified lawyer.
• At least 3 years' PQE gained in a renowned law firm or in-house legal department in a sizeable company.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating complex legal language into understandable terms.
• Proven ability to identify and mitigate potential legal and regulatory risks.
• Independent, proactive, committed, well-organized, self-motivated and good team player.
