Purpose:

To assist the Finance Manager to oversee the control and monitoring of stocks and stocks movement by making reconciliation of physical stocks and book balances, analyse any variances, investigate the causes and report to the management for solution.

Key Responsibilities

· Compilation and making analysis of daily stock reports from operation department and reporting on any abnormality

· Monitor stock on daily basis, checking all stock documents, and completing all paper works relating to stocks movements, both physical stocks and book stocks.

· Recording of all stock movements in company records, receipts, deliveries, gains/losses, & any other movements.

· Attend to all periodic product physical stock taking

· Reconciliation of physical vs. book stocks, and subsequent determination, reporting to management, investigating & resolution of all variances.

· Reconciliation of inventory as per company book vs. third parties stock records, and subsequent reporting to management & subsequent resolution of all variances.

· Custodian of stock recording documents.

· Sending of stocks statements to customers on monthly basis, and as required

· Attend all stock related meetings

· Ensuring deliveries of product is done only to customers with enough stocks of their own at company

· Ensure accurate and all stock transactions, balances and ledgers are maintained for stock and cost of sales

· Provide advice and recommendation for continuous improvements of stock systems, procedures and controls.

· Preparation of Bank reconciliation and related transactions

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience

· A minimum of Five (5) years’ experience in Accounts or Finance, Commerce, Business administration or any other business-related discipline.

· Experience in stocks control

· Computer Literate-Windows, MS Applications

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

· Ability to work independently under minimum supervision

· Performance oriented

· Calm, confidence manner to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

· High level; of responsibility, accountability and integrity

· Team player

· Good business acumen for problem solving.

· Proven ability in organizing personal work and schedules

· Task deadline oriented

· Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels

· Ability to maintain confidential Information
