Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Remote (EST Time zone)
Salary Range: up to 1500 USD
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST)

Position Overview:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping for several US-based clients. This role requires extensive knowledge of US GAAP, experience in creating financial statements, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Bookkeeping Operations: Perform bookkeeping tasks using Xero and/or QuickBooks, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Create and manage financial statements according to US GAAP.
• Client Communication: Communicate directly with clients, answering their queries and explaining financial reports in clear and understandable terms.
• Data Organization: Ensure all financial data is organized and easily accessible, maintaining up-to-date and accurate client records.
Qualifications:
• 3-4 years of bookkeeping experience with 1-2 years of experience handling bookkeeping for US companies (general knowledge of US GAAP).
• Proficiency in Xero and/or QuickBooks.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
Nice-to-Haves:
• Additional certifications in accounting or bookkeeping.
