Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Economics/Marketing Teacher at De Mould Academy in Enugu State, Nigeria. The Economics/Marketing Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons, teach students about business economics and economics principles, contribute to the overall education curriculum, provide educational leadership, develop curriculum, and ensure a high standard of teaching and learning in economics, marketing and commerce. S/he will be directly responsible for teaching and preparing examination classes for external economics, marketing and commerce examinations.
Qualifications
• B.Sc (Ed)/B.Sc/M.Ed in Economics, Management, Business Administration or other related disciplines
• 3 years of experience as a teacher in a reputable school
• Business Economics and Economics knowledge
• Experience in lesson planning and teaching
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with students and colleagues
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Experience in creating educational materials and assessments
• Qualified Teacher certification (TRCN) is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong ICT skills and educational technology skills
• Strong and demonstrable Christian leadership lifestyle of holiness and faithfulness.
