Malawi Fertilizer Company (MFC) invites applications from suitably qualified and results driven candidates for consideration to fill the following positions which are tenable at the MFC Plant in Liwonde, Machinga:
PIT OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Pit Operations and Bagging Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Monitoring the receiving of the fertilizer from the pit and bag or offload into the bulk bins and keep records of the number of the wagons offloaded and name of the product.
Keeping records of the name of the product bagged and tonnage bagged.
Manages support staff and their productivity including conducting reviews in line with company policy.
Accounts for the stock that is in his custody.
Ensuring that before and after offloading a different product, the equipment is thoroughly cleaned to avoid contaminating the products.
Thoroughly cleaning of the equipment should be a routine to avoid corrosion.
Minimum Qualification and work experience
• Diploma in Business Management and Supply Chain Management
• Computer literate
• Must have at least 3 to 5 years work experience
