We are looking at Engineering Leader who had excellent product support and manufacturing NPI/MP knowledge and experience in supporting the fast-growing NV board level product engineering and manufacturing over in Taiwan working with CMs. This leader will require to support board Ops engineering team and be the lead person who act as TW local support team leader.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage NVIDIA’s TW on-site support team for Board Ops engineering in supporting board build operation and responsible for their daily task and people management roles.
- Be the lead person who act as TW local support team leader and be the first line interaction person to CM team in term of MP/sustaining board level manufacturing issues support and be the escalation path.
- This person will serve as a bridge for SZ Mfg CoE team in TW working with CM for continuous Light Touch Model (LTM) execution and new MP products transition into LTM.
What we need to see:
- 12+ years’ experience in either Product Development in the Board related, Consumer Product industry and or backend product manufacturing experiences. Deep technical knowledge in Hardware and/or Software Engineering / Embedded Product Development.
- Familiar with manufacturing processes and ability to lead and drive any manufacturing related issues to resolution working with CM/ODM.
- Experience in the deploy globally optimized engineering processes in semiconductor and electronics industrial
- Deep knowledge and experience in the whole PLC model including strong working relationship with CM/ODM and ecosystem partners in TW/APAC.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Strong working experience in support and enabled productization in CM or ODM partners including experience in both front and backend development process – hardware, software, system integration and manufacturing.
- Familiar with Shift Left principle and management experience of cross geographic and functional teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management. Fluent in both English and Chinese. Ability to travel.
