As a Snr Business Analyst, you will work on a highly visible, flexible and collaborative team in a fast-paced semiconductor equipment manufacturing environment. The Snr Business Analyst will support the Manager of Finance and Control in the area of Global Sales. The Snr Business Analyst will help to resolve complex business challenges, establish business metrics related to revenue recognition, and provide insights into future business endeavors. The ideal candidate is a creative and passionate analytical problem-solver who acts quickly, is comfortable in a hands-on role and is motivated to develop new approaches. This position requires a solution-oriented candidate with a combination of business acumen, knowledge of financial best practices, and foremost an analytical mindset. The candidate must have the ability and flexibility to work globally with diverse stakeholder groups to solve business problems and provide data driven solutions that are organized and simple to understand; good communication skills are a must. This position will report to the Snr Manager of Finance and Control support the Global Sales organization and Global Corporate Revenue.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• This position will require the application of business and financial acumen to support the Snr Manager of Finance and control and various levels of Operational and Financial decision makers with data, analysis, metrics, process creation/improvement, and operating model alignment.
• Business Partnering within Finance, Legal, Sales, and Business Control to ensure Operational Cost Control
• Business Partnering with Finance (Accounts Receivable department) and Global sales to report monthly A/R status and drive more efficient / effective communications to enable minimal overdue accounts receivables.
• Business Partnering with Global Sales, Global Sales Operations, Corporate Accounting and Business Control to analyze complex commercial deals to determine proper revenue recognition treatment.
• Partner with Business Control and Finance to analyze and manage deferred revenues (Balance Sheet)
• Partner with Business Control and Business Unit leadership to monitor, report, and manage Finished Goods inventory.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial results and forecasts related to Global Sales Operational Expenses. (Actual to Forecast to Budget comparisons)
• Support and implement new business process flows when new business opportunities are identified by account team and marketing.
• Communication & Coordination: Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Support Taiwan region annual financial and tax audit and ensure all accounting records of Taiwan Region comply with corporate and statutory requirements.

EXPERIENCE
• Collaborating with management on plans to achieve positive financial results.
• Ability to interact and influence other functional teams across an organization.
• Understanding of basic accounting treatment for revenue under IFRS
• Experience in making presentations to department, senior and middle management.
• Previous experience with fully integrated SAP, ERP systems.
• Experience working in a global organization.

EDUCATION
• BS/MS Degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA is preferred
• 3 - 7 years of work-related experience in semiconductor manufacturing of similar high technology manufacturing environment.
• CPA Certification is desirable
