Social Media and Marketing Assistant

Description
• Assist with general marketing tasks, including drafting and sending emails, newsletters, and promotional materials.
• Operate and manage social media accounts.
• Create engaging content, including reels, stories, and posts, to build brand awareness and increase follower engagement.
• Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a sense of community around our brand.
• Collaborate with the team to develop creative content ideas and concepts.
• Produce high-quality visuals and videos, with a focus on reels, to showcase products/services and drive engagement.
• Implement strategies to grow our social media following organically.
• Utilize hashtags, collaborations, and engagement tactics to attract new followers and increase reach.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to online stores, such as copying and pasting product descriptions, updating inventory, and managing orders.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in completing administrative tasks to support overall business operations.
Hard Requirements:
• Prior experience in social media management, with a strong understanding of Instagram.
• Proficiency in content creation tools and platforms, such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing software.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with followers in a professional and personable manner.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Self-motivated and proactive with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Availability to work full-time and dedicate time to training and professional development.
• Experience with other social media platforms, such as TikTok and Pinterest, is a plus.
Schedule:
• Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM EST
