We are looking for an experienced and caring Veterinarian to provide high-quality medical care to animals, ensuring their well-being and promoting the highest standards of veterinary medicine. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in small animal medicine and surgery.
Education: D egree In veterinary
Experience: Proven Experience in small animal medicine.
Location: Iringa, Tanzania
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform thorough physical examinations and diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in animals. Conduct surgical procedures, including spaying, neutering, and other routine surgeries. Proficiency in soft tissue surgery is desirable. Utilize diagnostic tools such as X-rays, ultrasound, and laboratory tests to assess and diagnose health conditions. Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing clear explanations of diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care. Recommend and administer vaccinations, parasite control, and other preventive measures to ensure the health and well-being of animals. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients. Collaborate with veterinary technicians, assistants, and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care and client satisfaction. Stay current on advancements in veterinary medicine through ongoing education and training. Be available for emergency cases and provide timely and effective emergency care as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree n Medicine OR related Field. State veterinary license in good standing. Proven Experience in small animal medicine. Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Compassion and dedication to the well-being of animals. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
