POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs ultrasounds with efficiency and accuracy. Must have a good knowledge of human anatomy and ultrasound physics. Ultrasound exams including: echocardiogram, stress echocardiogram, echo with microbubble, echo with contrast. Maintains confidentiality and adheres to FHCP policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, skills and experience:
• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Must have attended an AMA or CAHEP accredited ultrasound school.
• Must be registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• Must have a minimum of one year experience as a Cardiac Technologist.
• Knowledge of EHR/PACS/CVPACS/RIS preferred.
• Current professional rescuer CPR/BLS certification or required during probationary period.
• Clear English communication skills, written and oral.
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation for required travel to facilities
