What does this role involve?
· Joining our catering team in the production of daily menu items
· Sharing your knowledge and experience when teaching moments present themselves
· Delegating tasks among your team to meet quantity and time deadlines
· Ensuring food production and kitchen cleanliness exceeds standards
· Providing menu development input
· Participating in special events and functions
What are the requirements for this role?
· Combination of culinary or baking apprenticeship and experience exceeding 5 years
· Proven experience producing quality and aesthetically pleasing baked goods by hand and with machinery
· Experience planning, estimating, and directing food preparation, cooking, and labour requirements
· Valid Food Safe, WHMIS, First Aid and/or 5-ton truck operation would be an asset
· Strong computer and communication skills, both verbal and written
