Clarence George is currently supporting a market-leading reinsurer who is seeking an Investment Director to join their thriving Bermuda team.
This is an unprecedented opportunity for an investment professional who is looking to advance their career in a booming reinsurance market.
Role/Team:
• Reporting directly into the CIO, this person will lead on the structuring and execution of asset-based initiatives
• Work cross functionally and collaborate with other teams, such as Actuarial, on technical concepts relating to the firm’s investment portfolio
• Implement operational onboarding of new investment initiatives
Profile:
• Fully qualified Actuary or CFA charterholder
• 8+ years experience in life and annuities
• Strong experience and knowledge of ALM and investments. Reinsurance experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability and willingness to roll up your sleeves in a hands on role
