This is a unique opportunity for an experienced litigation Paralegal to join a Bermuda-based law firm. It is essential that applicants already reside on the island(s) or have very close links.
Their Dispute Resolution team is looking for a Paralegal to primarily assist the Litigation/Matrimonial and Family practice area, and the successful applicant will support the dispute resolution Directors and other Attorneys with routine aspects of litigation: legal and factual research and analysis, reviewing and analysing documents, drafting legal documents and affidavits, undertaking costs review and bill of costs assessments, and conveying and routing legal information to clients under Attorney supervision.
Applicants must have extensive and relevant Paralegal experience, but this does not necessarily need to have been attained in Bermuda.
Applicants must have superb academics, a keen eye for detail, and strong organisational skills, as this position will suit someone who is proactive and has suitable background and experience needed to be organised and on 'top of the game'. The right candidate is not only a person who can work well in high stress environments, can deal with a high volume of work, but is also savvy with IT systems. Our client is looking for a "get the job done" type of personality, who is flexible and happy to go the 'extra mile'.
