Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Office Agent to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, processing transactions, and maintaining a high level of accuracy in all aspects of their work.
Key Responsibilities
• Process guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys.
• Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
• Process guest check-outs, including resolving any late and disputed charges.
• Answer and respond to guest calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to track the readiness of rooms for check-in.
• Communicate parking procedures to guests and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
• Supply guests with directions and information regarding the property and local areas of interest.
• Run daily reports, including the number of arrivals and departures, and identify any special requests.
• Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
• Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks.
• Count bank at the beginning and end of shift.
• Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
Requirements
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No license or certification required.
Working Conditions
The Front Office Agent will be required to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. They will also be required to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
