Job Summary:
Saur Middle East/Asia is seeking a highly skilled Operations and Maintenance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing and estimating the costs associated with operating and maintaining various systems, equipment, and facilities within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership:
• Lead and analyze O&M costing activities to ensure accurate and efficient cost estimation.
• Cost Analysis and Estimation:
• Develop and maintain cost models, tools, and databases to accurately estimate O&M expenses.
• Identify cost drivers and recommend cost-effective measures to optimize O&M expenses without compromising operational efficiency.
• Financial Planning and Reporting:
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to provide accurate cost projections and forecasts for budgeting and financial planning purposes.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate cost analysis findings, cost-saving opportunities, and recommendations to management.
• Process Improvement:
• Continuously evaluate and improve existing O&M costing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and quality of cost estimates.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, procurement, and finance teams to gather relevant data, validate cost assumptions, and align O&M costing activities with organizational objectives.
Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Several years of experience in O&M costing, cost estimation, or financial analysis is essential. Experience in water and wastewater treatment is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills are crucial for evaluating cost drivers, analyzing data, and estimating O&M expenses accurately.
• Familiarity with maintenance strategies, equipment lifecycle analysis, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) can be beneficial.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices related to O&M costing is valuable
