About the Role
Giza Systems is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data governance frameworks and standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure high data quality, integrity, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce data governance standards.
• Lead data governance initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee data stewardship efforts and provide guidance to data stewards.
• Conduct regular data quality assessments and implement improvement plans.
• Manage data governance tools and support their effective utilization.
• Provide expert advice and training on data governance best practices.
• Monitor compliance with data governance policies and regulations.
Requirements
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Excellent command of English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team
