Job Summary
Eram Talent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Collections Specialist to oversee collection routes and driver/worker performance on a daily basis at a large hauling site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for organizing and scheduling all necessary resources required to accomplish activities, including monitoring driver time and coordinating daily operational needs with our Waste Management team.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise the end-of-day check-in process, capturing and communicating key service, safety, and equipment issues.
• Review weekly demand/volume for routes, determine potential gains from re-routing, and recommend re-routes to the routing specialist.
• Set and monitor productivity, service, and safety targets for each route and driver by collecting accurate data and reporting for various incentive pay programs.
• Conduct Root Cause Investigations for all injuries and incidents, ensuring consistent discipline and retraining.
• Visit customers and customer sites to evaluate and resolve safety issues, seeking service alternatives where appropriate.
• Assist with personnel needs of the department, including selecting, coaching, disciplining, and training employees, and evaluating employee performance.
• Ensure adherence to facility best practices and processes by conducting regular auditing.
Requirements
• Extensive understanding of training methods.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse population.
• 7 years of experience.
• Must understand internal standards and risk assessment practices.
• Ability to work independently, with limited required direction and guidance.
• BSc in an appropriate discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in Quality Improvement.
