About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Conference Producer to join our team at Informa Connect Limited. As a Conference Producer, you will be responsible for producing high-level industry-relevant conference programs, liaising with key professionals and institutions, and engaging with recommended speakers to confirm their attendance.
Key Responsibilities
• Conference Production
• Develop and implement conference programs that meet the needs of our clients and attendees.
• Liaise with speakers, exhibitors, and delegates to ensure a smooth and successful event.
• Manage the speaker database and ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
• Prepare and communicate creative brief documents to the marketing team.
• Assist in the provision of leads to the sponsorship team and attend sales meetings as appropriate.
• Market Research and Industry Networks
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the industry.
• Develop new conference ideas and program content through meetings and tele-research with key experts.
• Collaborate with the director and other sales team members to generate ideas for enhancing the conference portfolio.
• Identify key opinion leaders, institutions, and companies related to the event.
• Speaker & Delegate Liaison
• Liaise and network with speakers, exhibitors, and delegates on-site to maintain customer service standards and resolve queries.
• Assist with onsite duties as required for the duration of the event.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Minimum two years' experience in conference production.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Commercial awareness and research skills.
• Copywriting skills and brand awareness.
