About the Role:
Mint Creative Production & Entertainment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health and stability of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Record Management: Maintain and update financial records, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments, to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Bank Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and calculate VAT payments and returns to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal guidelines, ensuring compliance with company, local, state, and IFRS accounting and financial regulations.
• Financial Policy Implementation: Review and implement financial policies to ensure effective financial management and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Budget Forecasting and Management: Prepare budget forecasts and manage organizational budgeting and reporting to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
• Internal Audits and Liaison: Conduct internal audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
• Invoice Payment and Expense Tracking: Process invoice payments and track company expenses to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Financial Information Organization: Ensure financial information is organized and accessible to support informed decision-making.
• Financial Transaction Monitoring: Monitor financial transactions and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Process accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and a relevant professional certification.
• Experience: Proven 5 years' experience as an Accountant or in a similar role, preferably in the construction, interior fit-out, and theming industries.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, software (Odoo, Tally, ERP), and VAT regulations, as well as effective communication skills in English and Arabic
