Duties & Responsibilities
• Experience in 11kv line maintenance and repairs.
• Experience in Solar PV systems would be an advantage.
• Registered with the DOL as an “Installation Electrician” (3 phase) with wireman’s licence will be an
• added advantage.
• Experience in electrical circuits design, assemble, install, commission, maintain and repair.
• Experience in complex electrical fault finding and problem solving.
• Knowledge and experience on VFD/Soft Starter installations and programming.
• Experienced in Milling and Turning.
• Experience in repair and maintenance of pneumatic systems and components.
• Experience in repair and maintenance of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
• Experience in repair and maintenance of belt, screw, and chain conveyors.
• Experience in repair and maintenance of helical, helical bevel and worm gearboxes.
• Experience in Coal Fired Boiler operation, maintenance, and repair would be an advantage.
• Experience in Ammonia Refrigeration Plant and component repair and maintenance. Category B8 certified would be a definite advantage.
• Experience in preventative maintenance routines.
• Experience in compiling shift rotation schedules of personnel, implementation and monitoring thereof.
Key Performance areas:
• Maintain and repair all machinery, installations and other apparatus or articles within ART according to the applicable policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure that all tools and equipment used are safeguarded and properly taken care of.
• Accurate administration and execution of job cards and ensure that all documentation relating to maintenance and repairs are completed 100% according to the company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Comply with ART Health and Safety, Food Safety policies and procedures
