Key Account Sales Executive:
MEDLOG is the inland logistics arm of MSC Group. The company operates worldwide and provides door-to-door transport and logistics services, using a network of trucks, trains, barges, depots, terminals, and warehouses.
About The Opportunity
At MEDLOG, the inland logistics arm of MSC Group, we’re searching for Sales-Driven Professionals to join our team as Key Account Sales Executives. This role focuses on identifying and acquiring new business, driving revenue growth, and building strong, long-term client relationships. Your ability to hunt for new opportunities and close deals will be instrumental in our expansion across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
• Sell our full suite of logistics services and grow MEDLOG’s client base.
• Drive revenue through new client acquisition and high-end account management.
• Implements the commercial strategy to achieve new leads, negotiate and close contracts with clients to drive active volume
• Negotiate contracts to secure long-term business opportunities.
• Identify new business opportunities and report on market trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Service Delivery, Finance, Haulage) to ensure seamless service for clients.
• Manage financial aspects to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
• Propose and achieve monthly sales and volume targets.
Required Skills/Abilities
• Proficiency in report writing and business analysis tools
• Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
• Proven experience in driving sales and closing deals.
• Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, ideally in logistics or shipping
• Familiarity with CRM tools and lead generation platforms.
