Flores Restaurant & Bar is looking for a dedicated Dishwasher who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The Dishwasher role is to clean plates, utensils, glassware, equipment, and help deep clean parts of the restaurant. They must maintain safe chemical amounts on their station including their dish machine.
The Dishwasher duties include, but are not limited to:
• Ensure the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables and washing and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware.
• Clean and polish silverware.
• Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers and mixers, etc.
• Prepare dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
• Unload and store deliveries.
• Collect the buss tub that service uses as a drop off point, bring it back to the station to be cleaned and sanitized.
• Take out the trash and rinse garbage cans.
• Sweep and mop floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled.
• Clean and maintain the dishwasher station following all SOP’s and safety protocols.
• Occasionally asked to assist with cleaning different areas of the restaurant outside of their station.
• Follow opening station setup as well as EOD (End of Day) closing procedures.
• Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.
• Support other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.
• Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift 20-50 pounds.
• Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
Number of days expected to work per week: 3
MUST be available to work weekends.
Number of hours expected to work per week: 20, with the possibility of additional hours
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
