Clarence George is currently supporting an international life reinsurer with significant equity backing who are seeking a Director & Actuary to join their Bermuda team.
This is an exceptional opportunity to support the corporate development team in evaluating and structuring new reinsurance and M&A opportunities.
Role
• Develop and maintain pricing models for existing and new business
• Construct technical models to support pricing for block reinsurance transactions
• Participate in deal discussions and prepare presentation materials
Profile
• Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries, Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, or other internationally recognised association (e.g., FIA, FSA, FCIA)
• 5+ years of experience in life insurance with knowledge of annuity products is essential
• Offshore pricing experience for reinsurance to Bermuda is highly desirable
