Our client are a leading transportation company and they are hiring a ServiceNow Developer – ITAM to join their team on a contract basis in Brussels. The successful candidate will undertake the task of configuring and advancing ITAM functionalities within ServiceNow, particularly emphasizing ITSM and SAM.
Responsibilities:
• As the ServiceNow Developer, you will configure and enhance IT Asset Management functionalities within ServiceNow, encompassing ITSM and SAM.
• You will utilize ServiceNow components like Service Catalog, Request Fulfillment, Asset Management and CMDB to streamline ITAM processes.
• Develop technical elements within ServiceNow, including business rules, client scripts, UI policies and actions, workflows, web services and reports.
• Provide support for ServiceNow administration, configuration, development and customization, along with related integrations.
• Apply ITIL principles to optimize IT service delivery and ensure compliance with ITSM best practices.
• Furnish ServiceNow administration and functional/development support to users and process owners.
• Generate technical and functional documentation for ongoing maintenance tasks and projects.
Qualifications:
• ServiceNow System Administrator Certification.
• At least 3 years of experience in ServiceNow ITSM/ITAM development and administration within an enterprise environment.
• Solid grasp of ITSM best practices and ITIL principles (ITIL Certification preferred).
• Competence in IT Asset Management processes and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) principles.
• Understanding of ITSM/ITIL Framework and Asset purchasing/receiving processes.
• Experience with ServiceNow SAM/HAM is advantageous.
• Proficient in workflow and approval configuration within ServiceNow.
• Thorough understanding of ServiceNow Best Practices with a commitment to ongoing learning of new features.
• Capable of effectively troubleshooting technical/application problems.
