About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the execution of large-scale solar EPC projects for a global firm in Uzbekistan. The ideal candidate will have 20+ years of experience in managing solar projects, particularly in the Middle East or CIS countries. You will oversee all aspects of the project, from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality control, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end execution of solar EPC projects, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
• Develop and implement detailed project schedules, budget estimates, and risk mitigation plans.
• Manage client relationships, addressing any changes or developments during project execution.
• Oversee subcontractor management, procurement, and logistics, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Monitor progress against contractual requirements and company standards, proposing corrective actions as necessary.
• Lead project teams ensuring effective communication and motivation to meet project goals.
• Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
• Provide financial oversight, including budgeting, invoicing, and maintaining project profitability.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• 20+ years of experience in PV Solar EPC project management, with a focus on electrical, civil, or mechanical aspects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale solar projects in the Middle East or CIS countries.
• Strong skills in project coordination, financial management, client and subcontractor management.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software like Primavera
