About The Role
As Senior Manager - Global HR Business Partner, you will serve as a crucial ally to the leadership team and be entrusted with nurturing our most vital asset – our people. You will work closely with various HR teams to plan and deliver HR programs efficiently. Your role is to provide strategic HR support to the Engineering Department, the technical core of Afiniti responsible for the company's product development. A key focus will be on driving employee engagement to ensure a motivated and high-performing workforce.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with department leaders on strategic initiatives, including employee engagement, retention, performance planning and reviews, compensation analysis, employee relations, and career development.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the business to provide informed HR guidance.
• Serve as a strategic HR advisor to managers, implementing initiatives that align with business goals.
• Drive employee engagement efforts, fostering a culture of collaboration, motivation, and high performance.
• Ensure consistent application of company policies, legal compliance, and foster a positive employee relations climate.
• Support managers in mentoring and guiding teams toward achieving business objectives. ]
• Work closely with corporate HR teams (Recruitment, Compensation, Talent Management, Training, People Ops) to support daily operations.
• Execute people frameworks like performance management and learning initiatives in collaboration with the Center of Excellence (COE).
• Drive DEI initiatives, embedding these insights into business strategies.
• Leverage data to provide insights that drive decision-making and address root causes of business challenges.
• Manage HR projects from inception to execution, ensuring smooth handover and focus on enhancing the employee experience.
• Address and resolve employee grievances.
• Ensure confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information and HR processes.
Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum bachelor's degree, with a master’s degree encouraged.
• 3-6 years of HR and management experience.
• Experience working with or supporting technical teams.
• Proven track record of implementing HR best practices and systems, with a focus on driving employee engagement.
• Strong communication, collaboration, coaching, and confidentiality skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive issues and thrive under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
• A proactive and resourceful individual who thrives in handling high workloads while delivering innovative solutions to support the business.
• Tech-savvy problem solver with the ability to navigate complex challenges and drive solutions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP are a plus.
• Both COE and HRBP experience preferred.
