Job Summary: The Production Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations on the production floor, ensuring efficient and timely production of pineapple juice concentrate and bottled juice. The role will involve coordinating with machine operators, ensuring adherence to production schedules, and maintaining high levels of safety and quality standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: The production Supervisor is responsible for the following

• Safety and Compliance
• Team Management

Duties/Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output targets.
• Monitor the operation of machinery to ensure smooth production flow.
• Address any production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Ensure that all products meet company and regulatory quality standards.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to address quality issues during production.
• Enforce health and safety regulations on the production floor.
• Ensure all workers comply with safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
• Lead and supervise production staff, including machine operators.
• Set performance targets and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Train and mentor team members to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Experience – At least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a food processing or beverage manufacturing environment, preferably in fruit juice production
• Knowledge of food safety standards – Familiarity with HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and other food safety and hygiene standards is crucial for ensuring product quality and safety.

Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field with a strong technical background in food production or engineering.
