Description
Job Title: Controller
Department Name: Accounting
Reports to (title): Corporate Controller / CFO
Location: All
Job Summary: Manages the Accounting Department on a day-to-day basis. Must possess a high degree of proficiency and accuracy in handling detailed information and ensuring timely processing of that information.
Essential Job Functions:
• Act as a business partner to support both local management and corporate teams as needed to assist with strategic guidance and special projects
• Timely monthly financial reporting including cost accounting, with comparison to budgets, forecasts, and prior years.
• Monitor monthly management packages and trailing charts
• Coordinate daily/weekly reporting needs with corporate team
• Complete all tasks associated with all audits (Financial, tax, insurance)
• Assist Corporate team with cash flow projections, reconciliations, and requirements
• Manage all aspects of A/P, Billing and A/R
• Responsible for all company taxes and related matters
• Manage all company bank accounts
• Maintain professional relationships with banks
• Review all insurance lines
• Manage capital projects including financing
• Make recommendations for improvements in all aspects of the business
• Prepare and maintain the annual budget
• Manage direct reports and perform periodic one-one’s with them
• Manage tracking of plant capital expenditures/projects
• Maintain strong report writer skills
• Co-Manage with General Manger, H.R. Manager- Manufacturing Office Manager and staff
• Assist CFO in processing budgets
• Assist CFO in any projects
Requirements
Qualifications:
• BA in Accounting
• 5+ years’ experience
• Management experience
• Cost Accounting experience
• Full knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, MAS 200, Doc-Link
• ERP system experience
• Detail oriented
• Manage multiple priorities
