Arbitration Podium is an online platform dedicated to providing information and insight into international arbitration in Africa. Our goal is to showcase the development of international arbitration on the continent and promote African states as viable forums for international arbitration. From case reviews to news, events, insights, and interviews, Arbitration Podium offers readers knowledge about the arbitration climate in various African countries.
Role Description
This is a remote volunteer role for a Volunteer Contributor at Arbitration Podium. The Volunteer Contributor will be responsible for collaborating and sharing information related to arbitration in Africa. Tasks may include writing articles, conducting research, participating in interviews, and contributing insights into the arbitration field in Africa.
Qualifications
• Excellent research and legal writing skills
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively
• Interest or experience in international arbitration
• Knowledge of legal terminology and concepts
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability and willingness to devote around 5 hours per week to tasks
• Previous experience in publishing or journalism is a plus
• Proficiency in English language
• Enrolled in or completed studies in Law, International Arbitration, Journalism, or related fields
